Spoiler Warning

A TON of things happened in tonight’s ‘Game of Thrones’ episodes.  The Dornish are now officially out of the equation.  The Greyjoys have been defeated by their uncle.  The Unsullied were led into a trap and left separated from the rest of Dani’s army.  Olenna Tyrell was captured by Jamie and his forces, although she definitely had the last laugh when she revealed that it was she who killed Joffrey.

On a brighter note, two more Stark children were finally reunited; Bran and Sansa.  However, even that wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies.  Bran’s got a lot on his mind, which as he said, sees everything.  This really put a damper on the family reunion.  Then there’s of course that small thing about…

Jon Snow and Daenarys finally meeting!

While this was probably the most anticipated event in all of ‘Game of Thrones,’ the two characters did not actually hit it off right away.   Both have their own goals and require each other’s help, yet neither seems to fully see the urgency of each others’ issues.  Or at least they see their own personal threats as requiring precedence.  It’s important to remember that despite the audience having followed these two heroes from day one, Jon and Dani are total strangers to each other.

With a much shorter season, fans can only expect things to pick up even faster now that we’re basically at the mid-season.

Special shout-out to Samwell for saving Jorah’s life, all while basically doing a step-by-step wiki-how-YouTube-tutorial approach to curing the disease.  Despite all that, I still would have worn a glove.

‘Game of Thrones’ 6 months from now…
